The Lehigh County Authority provides drinking water to more than 55,000 residents of Lehigh and Northampton Counties in Pennsylvania. It also operates the Kline’s Island Wastewater Treatment Plant on behalf of the City of Allentown.

LCA status, first quarter 2017

There approximately 310 miles of sewer mains in the WLSP sewer system.  Approximately 18,000 customers are served by the WLSP system.

LCA provide the trunkline, interceptors, and pump stations that convey the sewage from the various Partners to the City of Allentown for wastewater treatment. LCA operates 18 miles of interceptors, two pumping stations, and one flow equalization tank. LCA is in the process of rehabilitating the 43,000 feet of their Western Lehigh Interceptor and completely refurbishing the Park Pump Station.
